Future of Sports: Equity
Future of Sports: Equity
Objective
Overview
Sports has quickly evolved from a conversation about athleticism to one that encompasses concepts of equity and ownership with equal levels of intrigue. Just a few years into the 2020s, and we’ve already witnessed a tremendous shift.
In partnership with Isos Capital Management, we hosted a virtual summit to discuss the rising prices of streaming rights, records setting attendances and viewership in women’s sports, and the gold rush to see who can best leverage the explosion in popularity of niche sports like pickleball and lacrosse.
With speakers from ESPN, Warner Bros. Discovery Sports, NWSL, and Roku, we sparked conversation around the business trends, insights, and moments that will define the future of sports and culture.
